Yep, the Blacksmith Shop is here! (Thank God the expansion won't be long in coming, I think this one might end up in the middle of my sheep...)To get it you need to have completed Ready The Kitchen from the main mission thread.
It appears alongside it's own thread of five missions (all details HERE) and is constructed first with 20 whacks of seven wood apiece, then finished with a whole new set of building supplies, much like all the new buildings, specifically 15 each of: Quench Buckets, Crucibles and Granite along with 10 each of Ash Dumps, Rivets and Junk Metal.
The bottom three will be wall requests, the top three will be direct requests to friends.
Once built you can take advantage of the Blacksmith's talents!
Inside you can craft those two important pieces of the Blacksmith's art, coal to get the fire nice and hot and iron to smelt. Coal is made with 200 wood and 4 fire each, Iron Ingots with 2 coal and 10 Iron Ores, a new item that is obtained from a variety of sources, doing things on your homestead, requesting on your wall, buying from the market or tending things on a neighbours homestead.
Once you have good stocks of coal and iron we get to the really nice bit... Blacksmiths in Frontier times did one very important job, they created the tools to make harvesting easier and that's exactly what this one does too!
You can craft together a Harvester with 3 Iron and 500 wood that will harvest 5 crops in one go or a feed bucket for 3 iron and 500 food that'll feed 5 animals.
It obviously comes complete with it's own Blacksmith themed collection to collect as we whack it and with it's Daily Bonus AND it uses a rare old favourite, the Crafting Collection as it's second one, dropping Crafting Collectibles when you use Harvesters or feed buckets...
There are also two new badges, one each for using Harvesters and Feed Buckets.

Badge 1: Use the Harvester 20 Times - Reward: 100XP, 500 Coins
Badge 2: Use the Harvester 200 Times - Reward: 2000XP, 1000 Coins
Badge 3: Use the Harvester 1'000 Times - Reward: 5'000XP, 5'000 Coins
Badge 4: Use the Harvester 5'000 Times - Reward: 8'000XP, 10'000 Coins
Badge 1: Use the Feeder 20 Times - Reward: 100XP, 500 Coins
Badge 2: Use the Feeder 200 Times - Reward: 2000XP, 1000 Coins
Badge 3: Use the Feeder 1'000 Times - Reward: 5'000XP, 5'000 Coins
Badge 4: Use the Feeder 5'000 Times - Reward: 8'000XP, 10'000 Coins
Oh, and last but not least, some new decorations!
Cast Iron Bear - 20 Horseshoes plus the reward for mission V
Cast Iron Fence - 250 Coins plus the reward for mission III
Cast Iron Gate - 200 Coins plus the reward for mission IV
