Get Cooking Those Rations!

You know it's a daddy's job to be nervous about his little girl, even when she's a rough, tough, rodeo-riding, steer-wrangling cowgirl with a military boyfriend and an adventuring spirit.

That's why Bess' Pa, Cookie, wants to send you his best Chuck Wagon to park on your homestead and cook up some rations to make sure his little Bessie is safe and well fed out on that dangerous Pioneer Trail!

This will prompt a chat from Cookie and launch the first of a SIX MISSION THREAD for the wagon.

Once you place the wagon you'll need to complete it with the traditional method of six building materials, all new ones for the Wagon...

Once it's completed and you've finished the third of the Chuck Wagon missions you'll be able to craft rations inside it four times a day AND collect it's daily bonus for more rations.

You have two options, one is mixing one fire with one ground chuck to craft one ration...

Or mix two cornbread with two jalapeño peppers for two rations (The peppers will pop up from doing all the tasks on your homestead.

So get yourself cooking up those rations but remember, your wagon can only hold TEN of each type! So don't go wasting no crafting materials.

Do you like the Chuck Wagon? Let us know on our Facebook Page.

Get Your New Tools On!

Well, we've been asking for it for ages and it seems the Pioneer Trail is going to be giving us what we want!

One of the best things about the Trail is as you accumulate Trail Points it opens up new things in Trader Bart's that can be used on our homestead, including...

...NEW TOOLS! Yes, accumulate enough points to be able to buy the new MULTI PLANTERS (*waits for cheering to subside*), MULTI TREE HARVESTERS and the new MULTI DEBRIS CLEARERS!

We'll also be able to upgrade our current tools to do more!

They each come in three sizes with the bigger ones able to plant or clear more stuff...

So, we've been asking for ages and they listened! What do you think of the new tools, come along to our Facebook Page and let us know!

Frontierville renamed "The Pioneer Trail"

Goodbye Frontierville (well the name at least.....)

Hello The Pioneer Trail!
Zynga have announced that they have decided that the game is about to under go such major changes that they are changing the application name to The Pioneer Trail.

We will need to load a new application to play the game but don't worry folks, your homestead will still be there and your progress will all be saved - you will be able to click on the "Travel" button to head out on the Trail returning to your Homestead any time you like.

OUR WEBSITE WILL STILL BE CALLED FRONTIERVILLE EXPRESS - We do already have the Pioneertrail.co.uk website integrated into this one so nothing will change there. If you want to see Pioneer Trail information specifically you will be able to visit by clicking on the Pioneer Trail signpost that you can see on the right of every page....

What do you think to this everyone? Will it always be Frontierville to you? Are you happy they have decided to change then name? Come and have your say at our FACEBOOK PAGE.

I like it Vanilla...

Yes folks, we've been teased with it for a while now and it's finally here... the Vanilla Orchid Crop!

This will become unlocked on the completion of The Baker's Rebound Passin' Through mission and be found in the market:

It's similar in coin reward to the normal corn crop that takes the same time to grow but gives better XP and Food returns. However, across the board, it's either the same or worse than the Blue Corn crop.

Once planted harvesting it will pop out the Vanilla Collection (seems quite common from what we can see)...

...which gifts you the Makeshift Bakery decoration. This is just a decoration, not a working building or item.

So, with the common nature of the collection are you happy with the Makeshift Bakery Decoration? Give us your thoughts on our Facebook Page

New Feature - Grain Silo

Get a helping hand with your harvesting and unlock a beautiful new crop when you build the new Grain Silo! As the pop up tells us, we could collect crop accelerating and unwither boosts plus other goodies when collect the Silo daily bonus!

After getting the above pop up and selecting "Build Silo" you will place the Silo frame and whack as usual
(Which will also prompt these TWO MISSIONS

You will then need these building requirements to finish the Silo

Once completed you will unlock a new crop - BLUE CORN

I personally love it when we get new crops and this one looks like it gives out more than double XP than the normal corn crop plus more food and coins! It doesn't cost very much more either! Will we ever plant normal Corn again? What do you think? Have your say at our FACEBOOK FANPAGE!
