Hopping Together

The one thing we can always be sure of when it comes to Spring is that the Rabbits are going to... well, start acting like rabbits.

Now, if there's one thing Bess loves it's her Rabbit and she has decided it's time to show off all the things she can do with it and have a contest!

That means a new Partnering set of missions with a floppy eared bent to them!

As usual, it's popup to start time!

That will kick off a series of 5 missions and a pair of wrappers/extra missions to hit at the start of next week (all details HERE) along with a four step build, the Rabbit Ranch (all details HERE).

The missions themselves will have a familiar mechanic to us all...

First up you choose one of three different Rabbits, one coin, one HS and Free Gift and one just Premium.

Those are then fed 34 times in total (by yourself or shared with a partner) with Green Goodies, which are each crafted with 2 Pristine Nettles (Wild Nettles/Cabbage) and 3 Veggie Stalks (Wall Post).

They're then weighed and scored with rewards popping out depending on weight, time and random factors.

You probably noticed the new free gift crop that can drop the stuff from the feed...

...and that will be joined (once you complete Mission 2) with the Furry Bunny type.

Those will also be in the market along with some mission and bunny related goodies...

...and finally we'll see a new collection that'll drop the Nettle plant and the Nettle items for Rabbit Feed.

So lets make the bunnies do what bunnies do best!

Pack Away The Partnering

From animals to snowmen and even pumpkins, we've been doing our neighbourly duty partnering up with all manner of items for a spot short of 12 months now.

Well, Hank has decided it's time to get us one big building that'll do all the training of these critters and keep track of all the items we've done so we can show the kids just how to do it in the future.

And so, to that end, the Grange is born.

As usual, it's popup time...

That will kick off a 5 mission thread and a wrapper to arrive on Monday (all details HERE) along with a 4 step building, the Grange itself (all details HERE).

The Grange is a building storage building to hold all the different buildings we've had through the course of the last year... That's the Shearin' Salon (Fluffy Sheep), the Snow Slide (Snowmen), Kitten Corral (Cuddly Kittens), Holiday Glade (Decorations), Ice Hotel (Ice Sculptures), Fitness Fort (Burly Bulls), Training Centre (Ponies), Show Course (Dogs), Carving Station (Pumpkins), Turkey Track (Turkeys) and the Pig Pavilion (Pigs).

As well as the normal window showing what buildings are in there, we'll also have the "Almanac" button.

This will open up a history book of all your different partnering efforts, allow you to purchase variations you don't have yet AND let you collect special rewards for getting all three.

We'll see a new free gift crop...

...which will also be in the market along with some mission reward Horseshoe animals...

...and the final item, a "healable" called the Prize Mystery Basket.

These are healed with 6 Prize Packages, which are made with 2 Prize Power (Radishes) and 3 Frontier Gifts (Wall Post).

Once healed these will drop a bundle of feed for the different Partnering animals!

They appear in the market once we get the Wrapper on Monday, which is a traditional type, wrapping up the missions themselves... and comes with a rather unique decoration reward...

Gotta love that pig!

So, let's get building and pack those partner buildings away.

Fun In The Ring

If there's one problem with living in a small town on the frontier it's that you have to make your own entertainment!

The kids have seen a circus train head through on the railroad and are now wondering if they'll ever get a chance to see one for themselves.

So, our intrepid homesteaders, with your help as usual, are going to make sure that they sure will!

The circus series is going to be a buildingless set of three small threads, each running alongside each other, and one wrapper mission. (all details HERE).

The first set is a general Circus intro and includes lion taming (of a kind). It'll introduce two new things. The first, a new decoration with a bonus, is the Fortune teller...

That will be collectible every 6 hours and drop a variety of fortunes and bonuses.

The second thing is a new species of Partner Pig, the Circus Pig... Yes, it's a bit of partnering but with a breed we've already seen before, so no new mission and it uses Hog Chow, which many may still have some stocks of... (If you need a refresher Hog Chow takes 2 Ground Corndogs (Corndog Crops/Corn) and 3 Sugary Shortening (Wall Post).

The second mission thread sees the Frontier couple of Hank and Fanny slip into lycra (or the Frontier equivalent) and take to the skies as trapeze artists!

The third mission thread then sees Doc invent a cannon to fire a man out of! Well, actually... to fire a Granny out of...

These last two threads are fairly gentle with some crafting, until we finally find the wrapper which simply ties everything together and get's us something of a unique rideable...

We will see one new free gift crop in the gifts and the market section...

...but generally we'll be using stuff we already know and love!

So, who's ringmaster?

Spring Loaded Florals

It's Springtime and that means flowers!

Join in the floral fun on the Homestead by building the Sunset Flower Celebration Display and crafting bright and beautiful floral displays for the homestead!

We'll see all manner of new things to give a jolt of Spring to the stead, even a brand new market!

As usual, it'll be a popup to start.

That will start a series of 8 missions that will release two a day over the next four days and a trio of wrappers that will sit over them all (all details HERE).

They'll be available inside a non-built-buildable, the Spring Flower Celebration Display:

The screens inside will be the usual ones we're used to, with flowers that open to show when you've completed the missions for the first time.

There is a twist on the usual repeatable missions however, instead of collecting for a Sweepstakes the items we get for each mission (in this case, Petals) are actually currency that we can spend in a new area, the Petal Market!

Three of the things in there are new flower bed decorations, the light, dark and cactus displays:

These are crafted by growing flowers from the Pots in the Market and Petal Market.

Each of those act like a healable animal and are grown with Floral Filling, an item that's crafted with 3 Rich Soil (Sunflowers/Sunny Poppies) and 2 Special Seeds (Wall Post)

The Sunlit Pot takes 6 Floral Filling, the Moonlit Pot takes 7 and the Cactus Bed takes 8.

You'll have spotted "Sunny Poppies" before and they're the new free gift crop...

...which is also in the market along with a few other new goodies.

Finally we'll see a collection that will give Petals and Sunny Poppies!

So, let's get growing...
