Hau`oli la ho`omana`o!

Aloha oukou! It's the Fourth Anniversary of settling down on the homestead and that means it's time for a party!

This year Ted has taken the reins for the celebration and has decided to bring a little tropical flavour to the homestead with a Luau!

We'll be doing our best to help out the intrepid cowboy in his quest to get us all having some islander fun!

As usual, a popup will kick everything off...

This will herald in a 5 mission thread with a Monday wrapper (all details HERE) and a 5 step build, the Luau! (all details HERE)

The whole thread is going to surround getting the party up and running and also playing some tropical games, the first two, which act as injured animals are Climbing Ripe Coconut Trees and Spear throwing games, both of which take 10 of their own feed (info in the missions)

When you complete them they can then drop one of four different Luau Animals... (We'll need all four).

Come Monday we're also going to be playing something a little more... heated!

Yes, we're going to be firewalking! The Coal Bed will be a placeable decoration with a fishing mechanic that involves us walking on coals!
We'll also have some tropical decorations to spread around the stead...

...and some summer holiday clothing for our avatars!

We're going to get two new crops, one a free gift, the Red Pineapple, and one a new coin crop, the Tiki Torch.

So, what are you waiting for? Grab your flowery shirt, some leis and a fancy cocktail, `okole maluna! *Drinks*

Props to Pa!

We'd be nowhere without our parents and the folks on the Homestead are going to be taking their chance (and ours) to give a shout out to some of ours!

It's Father's Day on the Frontier, and it's time to celebrate some of the best dads on the homestead, past and present!

That means some heavily story driven missions and some delving into things long since gone to give everyone the most info about that paternal side of their lives!

As usual, it's a popup to start...

That will kick off 13 missions in a standard map based thread (all details HERE) but no build.

Instead we'll see a small decoration, the BBQ Pit...

That will give us access to the missions via the now traditional mission map although I have to say I think this one is absolutely awesome... Instead of a standard map, we've got a picture of family togetherness, with each character a clickable button for the missions...

As for the missions themselves, we're going to see a few new items to heal, Gramps Notebooks, Hank's Shed and a Triplet Animal...

The first two are heal for reward items, the third becomes one of these insanely cute little animal triplets...

The animals don't stop there though as we're going to be getting a brand new rideable, the Studly Horse... and he's a handsome one...

For those who like to customise their avatar we'll also be seeing a collection of new glasses to add to your family!

We will, as expected, get a new Free Gift crop, the Barbecue.

And along with this mission will come two new badges! The first is for doing the Father's Day or Fair Games quests, the second is for feeding Rideable animals!

Finally, a Collection!

So, shout out to the Dads!

Steal or No Steal

You can never catch a break when you're a small businessman, that's for sure... and sometimes it's more than undercutting competitors and shoplifters...

Min has decided to pay his way on the homestead by starting a new Import/Export business using some fancy stagecoaches.

Only problem is his Stagecoaches are going missing then showing up empty and burnt out, trashed or riddled with bullet holes!

So, it's up to us to help him get his business up and running and find out who's raiding his goods...

As usual a popup will start things off...

This will kick off a 5 mission thread, one wrapper and a Monday mission (all details HERE) and a four step build, Min's Express (all details HERE)

This building will sell us Stagecoach Clues which will become one of three different destroyed Stagecoaches...

These coaches are healed as part of the missions and can drop some special crates or one of three animals (needed for the wrapper).

The crates are also part of the missions but have an extra edge to them. The crates are not only craftable but are sent to neighbours and can contain Free Gift Crops or Boosts!

That includes a brand new Extra Evidence Boost that gives 2 feeds to an injured animal...

We'll have one new Free Gift Crop...

...and a Collection!

So, what are you waiting for, posse up and go help Min!
